Civilian of the Quarter

Award Cat: Civilian Category I GS07-GS08
Winner: Base

Key Points to Writing
  • WRITE!!! The more you do it, the better you get.
  • Ask for HELP, the only person looking out for #1 is you.
  • Use a spell checker.  F7 works well in MS Word.
  • Use Merriam-Webster Online to improve your vocabulary.

The following civilian award example has been taken from an AF1206 - IMT so the formatting might be off.  I did not changed mission information, only names to protect myself and the people I have received the information from.  If you have anything you would like to submit, please do so.  If you have found this information useful, please let me know. Everyone of these letters has taken considerable amount of time to put together.  Please treat yourself to something special from one of the ads on the page.  We will both get something out of it.  (Money gathered pays for hosting and domain fees plus site growth items.  HONESTLY, when I see money come in it also prompts me to work harder on the site.)

NOTE:

Interesting package.  The information contained is pretty good, and would build a very good package with some polishing.  This individual seemed to be doing a lot of work, and was put up for an award.  The problem with this package is the very loose structure of it.  there is a lot of white space and long bullets.  Most of the bullets that run over a line could have been reduced to just one line.  Besides that, there are a number of acronym errors.  Remember structure is key.  Use the acronym after its spelled out, not before.  Final note, not all packages need to be well written or winners.  The fact the individual was recognized is the most important aspect of the award system.
